“We should help the injured first,” I said. “The healthy ones like us are going to be able to get out on their own. And as much as I hate to tell you this…”
I pointed on the ground where the flight attendant lay with a drink cart on top of her.
“The flight attendants were not buckled in when we crashed, and the pilots were right in front during the collision. They’re most likely all dead anyways.”
Brittney nodded. “Very well,” she said. “Find the injured and get them onto the beach – preferably in the shade. And do it quickly! We don’t know if something in here is going to ignite.”
She and I began to quickly check on injured passengers for signs on life. This process quickly showed me how lucky I really was. There were probably 300 people on our plane, and I could only find three people that showed any sign of life. One had a broken leg, one had a severed arm, and the third was completely unconscious but still breathing.
“Any luck on your end?” I asked.
Brittney nodded. “This guy here has a headache – possibly a concussion. We’ll have to get him in the shade. And this girl has a broken arm, so I’ll have to mend it when we get to the shore.”
Wow. Here I was, just checking to see if they were alive, and she was already thinking about how to move ahead. “Are you a doctor or something?” I asked as I picked up the guy with a broken leg and carried him out the emergency exit.
“No,” said Brittney. “I just use common sense when making decisions.”
We got to the island and looked around. There were fourteen of us alive. Myself, Brittney, the 5 injured people, a married couple probably going on a vacation, a businessman like me, an extremely hot looking girl, a guy dressed up in weird clothes like a punk rocker or something, a flight attendant who miraculously survived because she was buckled in the back while on break, and a young girl about 12 years old who was crying. I can’t blame her either – she probably lost both her parents in the crash.
“Mary,” said Brittney looking at the hot looking girl, “take care of the injured please.”
“Huh?” asked the hot girl named Mary. “Who the hell are you to be giving me orders?”
Brittney smiled evilly. “I am the one who determines whether you live or die here. I survived on a mountainside once, and I don’t think the same can be said about you, Miss Had-Your-License-Revoked.”
Mary blinked. “How the hell…”
Brittney laughed. “Don’t think I don’t read the local paper. Revoked for telling that poor guy…”
“Shut up!” yelled Mary. “Fine, I’ll do as you say. But I can’t do anything without fresh water! Everything around here is salt!”
“Then just listen,” said Brittney. And sure enough, we heard a small stream nearby. “Brian, go grab her some water.”
Just like that, Brittney took charge. She ordered the Flight Attendant (Anna) to collect any food that was remaining on the plane (after all, she was the only one that knew where the food was), the couple (Mark and Hannah) to search the cargo area for camping supplies or anything else of use, and the young girl (Suzy) to go into the woods and gather any plants she could see so that Mary could analyze them later for edibility.
“And John,” she said turning to the punk rocker, “I want you to try to contact the outside.”
“Tch,” said John. “I don’t have a crazy past like Mary here. You can’t blackmail me to do anything.”
Brittney frowned. “You have two choices,” she said. “You can either help us, or you can die here.”
John laughed. “Die? We’re all going to die here! But I’ll stay human! You guys enjoy eating each other’s corpses, I’ll live here by myself!”
He turned and took off into the woods. But his words did bring a shiver to us. Too many times we had heard of stranded humans eating other humans. And right in front of us was a plane full of…
“Burn the plane,” I said.
“What?” asked Brittney. “Why would we…”
“Burn it.” I said. “Get what you can out of it, and then set it ablaze. John’s right. We’re going to eventually run out of food, and when our stomachs call for it, human flesh is going to sound delicious. Don’t let us lose our humanity.”
Everybody silently agreed.
Brittney went off to try to get cell phone service and everyone else went to their jobs. I grabbed a bucket off the plane and gathered some fresh water from the stream to bring to Mary. By the time I got there, she had already gathered several sticks and herbs.
Yet, to my horror, there was already a towel placed over the heads of the unconscious guy, and to my shock…
“That guy had a broken leg! How is he dead?” I asked a little louder than I should have. The patients shuddered.
“Shh!” said Mary. “Look, when the body experiences trauma, it goes into shock. This man died of it. Now, before you go shouting any more nonsense, we need to decide who to treat first.”
I looked at the three options. First we had the guy with a concussion. Then we had the girl with the severed arm (thankfully the bleeding had stopped due to her quick acting in creating a tourniquet on the plane). Lastly we had the guy with a broken arm. Who should I help first?
Previous chapter: turn-into-a-girl.deviantart.co…

This is an interactive story in which your goal is to turn the main character into a girl. Chapter 1 will explain all the details as to how to do this.

Previous chapters results: Female choice selected. Girls are more likely to help the needy while a guy will more likely stay with his buddies. Trying to get someone to take the lead is cowardly and would result in no change.
Direct results influenced by the decision: Brian is selected to aid the injured instead of any of the other jobs.
Secondary results: Brian gets to see more of the island.

Currently: 60% Female

Select choices presented at the end of this chapter to influence chapter 3! One will turn him 70% female, one will 50%, and one will have him remain at 60%

i'd say concussion since as we all know brain damage is more severe
